Life is hard, at times it can even be overwhelming. When we are in a rut and things are not working out the way we planned, it’s very easy to get lost in thoughts of what’s gone wrong and if only things were different. Life is not going in the direction we want, there’s so much going on, there are so many moving parts that we don’t even get time to stop and breathe. We don’t know where to start, we are gripped by decision paralysis.
There’s a simple answer: stop thinking, start doing. Pick a problem, any problem, and get to work. The smallest action is worth far more than the biggest thought or intention. I’ll say that again: the smallest action is worth far more than the biggest thought or intention. So do something. Taking action to change things in your life for the better will have a deep and profound effect in ways that you could never imagine.
Nothing in our lives has a bigger impact on our overall physical and mental health, a further reach into every corner of our lives, than the way we eat. If you aren’t happy with the way you eat or your state of health then I recommend starting there. Changing the way you eat will fundamentally alter the way you experience life and interact with the world around you.
It sounds like a big claim but it’s 100% true. In the words of the great Australian football coach John Kennedy - “Don’t think, DO!”
